The good news is that I now live in a warmer climate that is virtually snow free, unless the world freezes over, but I spent many years in a colder climate. So many people tell me how lucky I must have been to be near the mountains in Colorado and always have beautiful snowfall. Well, that is how you feel for about five minutes, until you have to get your butt outside in the freezing cold before work and scrape off your windshield and warm up your car. Anyone who does not live in the South will know what I'm talking about.
But you get to snowboard and ski whenever you want, right? I will tell you a small story about that, where I went with a group of friends about an hour away to snowboard, and we got hit with one of the biggest blizzards of the year. The long and short of it is that several main mountain highways got closed, and we ended up driving for SIX, I said SIX, hours to get to our destination to snowboard. We had to go completely up and around the mountain that we were driving to because of the blizzard and come down from the north side. That means that we listened to every single playlist on my iPod about six times. Enough said.
