Please tell me that this subject also truly excites you? Obviously, my teenage years were in the 90s, and 90s music is so important to me. Maybe I am totally biased, but I am wondering why all of the music of today is not as good as it used to be? Yes, I know that is an age old complaint from one generation to the next, but what is the deal with the Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus? Totally frustrating.
I myself want to hear more 90s music with the grungy sound, like I don't know - Everclear? Pearl Jam? Old Matchbox 20? The Cranberries? Hole? Nirvana, of course? Old Nine Inch Nails? The awesomely creepy Type O Negative? Better than Ezra? And it doesn't all have to be alternative music, because I still love myself some Ace of Base or old-school Britney Spears, which is my guilty pleasure. Regardless, I am choosing to live in the past and download all of these amazing bands to my iPod for a spectacular 90s music playlist that I can listen to at my hearts content. I know some of these bands are still around making music, but I just hope that they stay true to their 90s roots, which we all really appreciate.
